Wishing all my readers a Very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Our Christmas Eve has been very low key so far. We had planned to spend the evening with our grandson but he had a crazy accident last night. Slipped on the ice and hit the pavement with his forehead. When he arrived here at noon today his Papa took him to the emergency at 1:30 PM. The bump on his forehead was massive and his eye was almost swollen shut. It is now 8:30 PM and he is still waiting to see a doctor.
Tomorrow we will be going to our daughter’s house for Christmas supper. She is an amazing cook and I really appreciate that she does the big Christmas day meal. I will contribute a 7 layer salad and an assortment of drinks.
Christmas shopping this year was a breeze. I only spent two hours in the mall; the rest of my shopping was done online.

Things are still reeling from Larry’s death.
The memorial is sat 13th then I think things will be a bit more normal.
It is kind of hanging over our heads.

Hi, Ben had a slight concussion and was told to take it easy during the holidays. I did not schedule a chat for January 1st but will schedule one for this coming Monday, January 8th. So sorry about Rob’s brother. Glad to hear that Rob is enjoying his first day of retirement.
